The College of Chicago does not release any sensitive personal information of its students. All students record can only be accessible upon request by the student himself/herself or the student's family member, in compliance with FERPA.
The College of Chicago is committed to protecting the privacy of both its past and present students by upholding the highest standards of privacy. The school maintains the confidentiality of students' records and information; it is also the employee's responsibility to ensure this commitment to guard every student's privacy. Employees must keep information of students' confidential, including all documents that contain sensitive and critical information, in both paper and electronic formats. None of these should be left unattended. Employees shall not engage in any conversation involves confidential information of the students in places where the conversation can be overheard.
